Do we need special event insurance?

Yes, renters typically acquire this through their renters or home owner’s insurance.

What is you catering policy?

Clear Story Studio allows for our renters to bring is any caterer that works with their event, we only require that they have the proper insurance.

Can we cater our own event or have a potluck?

Yes, as long as it is stated in your special event insurance.

Am I permitted to decorate the studio for my event?

Yes, however we do have policies against the use of tape, glitter, confetti or any particulates that would be left behind.

Clear Story’s creative staff can provide additional design and technical services as well as specialty equipment to enhance your event and accommodate any advanced technological requirements, resources and pricing upon request.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Yes, the renter is permitted to bring their own alcohol, however, it is assumed that the renter is ensuring that alcohol is only served to guests aged twenty-one and over.

Clear Story is not responsible for the dispensing of alcohol, nor does Clear Story carry a liquor license. Clear Story REQUIRES a bar tender when attendance is over one hundred (100) guests or anytime hard liquor is served.

Cash bars are not permissible by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania laws. If you would like to sell alcohol as part of an event ticket price or fundraising effort, you need to obtain a Special Occasions Permit through the Liquor Control Board of Pennsylvania or be working with a licensee in possession of an Off-Premises Catering Permit.

Is there parking available?
